Butterfly
DAKOTA DRY: I wrote this song when I was dealing with the difficult decision of what middle school to go to. I talk about how huge an affect each decision can have on your life.
The melody in voice, lyrics, piano chords, and ukulele picking patterns were written and played by Dakota Dry. Percussion was written and played Richard Dry. Harmonies for voice were written by Dakota Dry and sung by Richard and Dakota Dry.
LYRICS:
Butterfly
Flap your wings on the other side
Butterfly
You could change your pride
Domino
Push one down and the rest follow
Domino
You could change the tides
Chose a path
Follow one and you can't turn back
Chose a path
You could change your life
Butterfly, domino, chose a path
I don't know
Butterfly, domino, chose a path
I don't know
Pick a lane
You can't chose both so chose one way
Pick a lane
You could pay the price
Look around
Look left look right but don't look down
Look around
Observe within the lines
